Relocating and reinstalling equipment
Moving equipment that already works is a common way to break it: transport locks left in, connections swapped, levels lost, and safety features disturbed. This course covers surveying the new location, preparing equipment for the move, reinstalling it, inspecting it before first use and updating the records. HSE's guidance on PUWER inspection is the UK example. The manufacturer's instructions and your procedures govern; regulated connections (gas, fixed electrical wiring, refrigerant) are for qualified people only. Examples are fictional.
