Power Automate basics and governance: flows that keep working and stay within policy
For people who build simple cloud flows in Microsoft Power Automate (office, finance and operations staff, service desk analysts) and the IT staff who support and govern them. You should be comfortable with Microsoft 365 apps such as SharePoint, Outlook and Teams; no coding is needed. You'll choose the right flow type and trigger, check whether a flow's connectors are allowed together under your organisation's data policies, set up owners, run-only users and connections so a flow survives someone leaving, add error handling and use run history to fix failures, and choose the right environment and governance controls. Licensing and admin screens change often, so confirm limits on Microsoft's current pages. Ends with a supervisor-graded build and review of a small flow.
