Handoff documentation after an install: as-built records, baselines and support handover

For IT project engineers, installation technicians, MSP project coordinators and the operations, NOC and service desk staff who receive new systems. Complete Acceptance testing and customer sign-off first; that course covers proving the work meets the contract and getting the customer's acceptance, and Customer handover and sign-off covers the end-of-job conversation. This course covers the documentation that lets someone else run and support what you installed: what a handoff pack contains and for whom, writing an as-built record that matches the live system, recording a configuration baseline and how it's controlled afterwards, preparing the support team with procedures, monitoring and escalation, and closing out with a receipt, open items and archived records. It uses public guidance as its backbone (NASA Systems Engineering Handbook section 5.5 on product transition, NIST SP 800-128 on configuration baselines, and the GOV.UK Service Manual on going live, monitoring and uptime). Your contract, your company's templates and your credential policy decide the real contents. Ends with a supervisor-graded review of a handoff pack.
