Order changes, backorders and partial shipments
Change or cancel orders at the right stage, explain backorders and delays honestly, handle split shipments and substitutions with the customer's consent, and refund unshipped items correctly. The FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (US) and section 28 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK) are awareness examples; your organization's terms and local law govern.
