Preventing retaliation and protecting people who speak up

Recognize protected activity (complaints, witness participation, accommodation requests, safety reports and whistleblowing), spot actions that can look like retaliation, separate a legitimate performance or conduct decision from a reaction to a complaint, and route whistleblowing and safety concerns correctly. EEOC, OSHA and GOV.UK cited as US/UK examples; follow your own policy and local law.
