Managing remote and hybrid workers: health, safety, wellbeing and fair treatment
For line managers, team leaders, HR coordinators and health and safety representatives responsible for people who work at home long term or split their week between home and a workplace. Complete 'Leading remote and hybrid teams' first: it covers working agreements, time zones, hybrid meetings and judging work by outcomes. This course covers the employer duties that sit underneath: a proportionate home working risk assessment, DSE (computer and laptop) assessments at home, keep-in-touch, lone working and emergency arrangements, reporting accidents, stress and isolation, and fair, lawful approaches to performance, monitoring and inclusion. Jurisdiction: Great Britain, using HSE guidance and Acas advice; elsewhere, check local law. This course is not legal advice and doesn't qualify you as a DSE assessor or health and safety professional; your organisation's policy and its competent advisers have the final say.
