Onboarding plan: the first 30, 60 and 90 days

For hiring managers, team leads and HR coordinators who already use an onboarding checklist (see 'Onboarding checklists that work') and want a fuller plan for a new hire's first three months. You'll plan the days before and the first day, write staged goals with the support attached, run review meetings that are two-way and recorded, link the plan to probation so the outcome is never a surprise, and adjust it for remote work, experience and reasonable adjustments. It uses UK guidance from Acas and US guidance from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Probation rules differ by country, sector and contract: this course is not legal advice, and your company's probation policy and HR team take priority.
