Contract renewals at an MSP: preparing 90 days ahead
For account managers, customer success managers and service delivery managers at a managed service provider (MSP) who look after customer contracts. No prerequisites; it complements 'Renewals, retention and expansion', which covers renewal risk and retention measures, and 'Service business reviews (QBRs) that customers value'. This course is the operational runbook: calculating the dates that matter, checking the contract and the vendor subscriptions behind it, reconciling usage with billing, writing an honest renewal notice, and recording the decision so billing and vendor portals change on time. Vendor examples use Microsoft's Partner Center documentation; legal examples are US (a Wisconsin statute on business contract renewals, and the federal ROSCA rules for consumers). This course is not legal advice: your contracts and your company's renewal policy apply, and contract or legal questions go to whoever owns them in your company.
