Deepfake voice and video fraud: spot it, verify it, report it
For all staff, and especially anyone who can move money, change bank details, reset accounts or share personal data: finance and payroll teams, executive assistants, service desk staff and managers. No prerequisites. Criminals can now clone a voice from a short clip and use AI-generated video or a still photo in a meeting to pose as a boss, a colleague, a supplier or a relative. This course uses US government warnings (FBI IC3, FTC, FinCEN) and UK NCSC guidance to show how these schemes work, which signs to notice, how to verify through a channel you already trust, and how to report quickly, including when money has already gone. Your organization's payment and reporting procedures come first; reporting routes are given for the US and the UK. This course is not legal advice.
