Construction: toolbox talks and daily site reports (US OSHA and GB HSE)
For foremen, supervisors, site engineers and anyone on a construction site who gives toolbox talks or writes the daily site report. No prerequisite, though the fall protection and hazard communication courses give useful talk topics. You'll plan a short talk on one hazard, deliver it so the crew takes part, record it, and write a daily report that captures work, inspections, incidents and actions as facts, including the entries that must be escalated straight away. Examples come from US OSHA (29 CFR Part 1926 and 1904) and Great Britain's HSE and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Your company's procedures, the site's principal or general contractor's rules and your contract decide the formats and who does what. This is not legal advice, and it doesn't make you a competent person for inspections or replace the formal training specific OSHA or HSE rules require.
