Construction: hazard communication and safety data sheets (US OSHA)
For construction workers, foremen, site superintendents and safety representatives on US construction sites where paints, thinners, adhesives, sealers, fuels and other hazardous chemicals are used. It goes further than the general course 'Chemical labels and safety data sheets' (complete that first) by applying the US OSHA Hazard Communication Standard to jobsite situations: workplace container labels, using an SDS to plan a task, the employer's written program and chemical list, sharing information on multi-employer sites, keeping SDSs reachable, and what training must cover. It covers US federal OSHA rules only: 29 CFR 1926.59, which applies the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1200 to construction. States with OSHA-approved state plans may have their own rules. This is awareness training. It doesn't make you a competent person, give a licence or qualification, or replace your employer's program, and it isn't legal advice.
